CLICKandDOWN supports downloading from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Flickr, Tumblr, and 1000+ other sites. You can download videos, playlists, channels, subtitles, and even entire YouTube subscriptions.
What Is a 4K Video?
4K refers to a resolution of approximately 4,000 pixels wide. Specifically, Ultra HD (UHD) has a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, which is four times the resolution of Full HD (1080p). This results in much sharper and more detailed images, especially on larger screens.
How Do I Log In to YouTube Within the App?
You can log in to YouTube within CLICKandDOWN to access your private videos, watch later playlist, and age-restricted content. Simply click the 'Tools' menu, select 'Log In', and enter your YouTube credentials in the browser window that opens. Your login information is securely stored.
Is There a Mobile Version?
Yes! CLICKandDOWN is available for both iOS and Android devices. You can download the mobile app to download videos directly to your phone or tablet. The mobile version supports all the same features as the desktop version, including 4K downloads.
How Do I Change the Output Folder?
To change where your downloaded files are saved, go to Preferences/Settings in the app. Under the 'General' tab, you'll find the 'Download Directory' option. Click 'Browse' to select a new folder on your computer where you want all future downloads to be saved.
What Are Smart Mode and Manual Mode?
Smart Mode allows you to set your preferred download settings (quality, format, subtitle options) once, and the app will automatically apply these settings to all future downloads. Manual Mode lets you choose settings individually for each download. You can switch between modes in the app settings.

macOS: macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later, Intel or Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3).

How Do I Get Higher Quality Audio?
For the best audio quality, select 'Extract Audio' and choose the M4A or MP3 format with the highest bitrate available (usually 320kbps). YouTube typically stores audio separately from video, and our app automatically downloads the highest quality audio stream available for the video.
